  • Residents are invited to join the Coalition of Neighborhood Organizations meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 5:30 p.m. in the Madden Room at the Decatur Public Library, where Decatur Police Chief Brad Allen will speak + answer questions.   • The Decatur Quilters Guild will host its annual 'Sew Much to Sell' fabric sale on Wednesday, Feb. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church + 3770 N. Water St., offering fabrics, quilting and craft supplies, a boutique booth, and Quilt Raffle tickets for purchase.  Decatur Tribune

  • The American Red Cross says winter storms have led to over 20,000 uncollected donations and 500 cancelled drives. In Decatur, donation events will be held at Millikin University Commons on Feb. 17 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and at the Decatur Blood Donation Center on Feb. 17 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.  Decatur Tribune
