- ➤ Today, the City of Decatur announced a facade improvement program that offers matching grants up to $25,000 to eligible businesses in federally designated low- or moderate-income areas, with a minimum project cost of $5,000; the program will upgrade storefronts through renovations and landscaping to boost property values. - ➤ The City of Decatur reported on Wednesday that the Howard G. Buffett Foundation donated over $2 million to local fire services with each department receiving $150,000 (smaller fire districts were included) to strengthen fire protection efforts. WAND
