- ➤ Ameren is upgrading nearly six miles of natural gas pipeline in Decatur this year. The southeast project, already in progress, will replace 2.4 miles for 170 customers and finish by early June, while the northeast project set to start mid-April for 270 customers is expected to complete by late September & may cause temporary lane closures. - ➤ Severe Weather Preparedness Week is ending in central Illinois as local officials advise residents to gather flashlights, radios, and non-perishable supplies in case of storms. The National Weather Service is working with emergency management to monitor conditions and prepare first responders. ABC 20
