  • Decatur Comic-Con 3 is scheduled for April 11-12 (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) at the Decatur Civic Center and will feature over 100 vendor booths, costume contests, video game contests, panel discussions, and celebrity appearances. Admission is $10 and on-site parking is free.  Now Decatur

  • Decatur Christian School’s 11th grader Tyler Skelley earned top honors in the America 250: Reflections through Art contest for grades 9 to 12 on March 23 (his artwork exploring horsepower impressed judges) and his piece will be shown at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield.  Now Decatur
  • On Thursday, April 30 at Shilling Community Education Center, Richland Community College will host its Bright Futures Gala to raise funds for scholarships; the circus-themed event features dinner, Gamma Phi Circus, and auctions.
