- ➤ Decatur Police Department has added two new K9 pups (Ivan and Rudy) to its team; they will begin an 18-month training program focused on basic obedience and detection today. Fox Illinois

- ➤ The Illinois House passed House Bill 4207 — which mandates most health insurance plans to cover coronary calcium scans for residents aged 40 and older starting in 2028 — and the measure now moves to the Senate for further review. Decatur Radio
