  • Chatham Café marked its ten year anniversary by donating Tuesday's sales to support families affected by last week's deadly crash at the Ynot Building. Owner Lu Asani said the donation was a way to give back + help the community heal.  Fox Illinois
  • Decatur’s Overlook Adventure Park will host a Ladies Only Mini Golf Outing '5 to 9' on May 15 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.—tickets cost $40 and include 18 holes, drinks, appetizers and access to vendor booths such as a lululemon pop-up shop.   • The June Ag Cafe will be held on Thursday, June 12 at the Beach House and hosted by the Greater Decatur Chamber of Commerce, with Collin Watters from the Illinois Corn Growers Association set to talk about market challenges.   • A REAL ID became required for domestic and international air travel on May 7 so passengers without one must use a passport or undergo extra background checks. Decatur Airport’s Director advised travelers to arrive early—additional verification may slow processing—so they plan for delays.  WAND
