Cars and Coffee, a free event at 661 E Wood St in Decatur held one Saturday each month from April to October, will take place on June 14th from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and will benefit the Macon County Honor Guard — local donations will support the group.

The June Ag Cafe will feature Collin Watters from the Illinois Corn Growers Association on Thursday, June 12 at the Beach House; the event, sponsored by Primient, will focus on marketplace challenges for corn farmers with doors opening at 11:30 a.m.—lunch is set for 11:45 a.m. and the program begins at noon.

The Decatur Area Arts Council opened its exhibit The Art of Japan on June 8th in partnership with Decatur Sister City Tokorozawa, Japan + the show features traditional dance, drum and judo demonstrations along with Matcha Bar, flower arranging, calligraphy, and origami sessions.
