  • The Five Cities Baroque Festival will run from June 15 to 21 with free musical events in Champaign, Decatur, and Springfield — the Decatur lineup includes a young artist recital on Tuesday, June 17 at Decatur First United Methodist Church.   • Ameren Illinois will hold an open house on Thursday, June 12 at the Decatur Club from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to preview its plan to improve energy service reliability and prepare for a fair transition to clean energy (as required under Illinois' Climate and Equitable Jobs Act) before it files its Integrated Grid Plan in January.  Now Decatur

  • Professional tennis returned to Decatur when the Illinois Women’s Pro Tennis Championships began on June 9 and will run through June 15 at the Fairview Tennis Complex, marking the city’s first pro women’s tournament.
