GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Decatur Public Transit System is partnering with Modeshift to remove cash fare boxes from its buses and switch to a cashless payment system over the next three to four months—riders will use reloaded rider cards or a QR app to pay, and those without cards can reload cash at payment terminals at the Senator Severns Transit Center. The system plans to add more terminals later to help more people make payments.  WAND
