  • Lisa Larck, a Decatur social worker, worked at her HappyToHook Creations booth at the Harvest Fest Craft Show at the Mount Zion Convention Center on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025, where she crocheted amigurumi toys for stress relief. The event, held three times a year, brought together many vendors (including makers of terrariums, resin items, and woodworking designs) to offer a wide range of creative products.  Herald & Review

  • Village of Argenta issued a boil water order on Saturday morning that advises residents to boil water after reports of low pressure on social media. The order remains in effect until further notice—its reason and duration remain unclear.  WAND
