- ➤ Decatur will host the Farm Progress Show starting Tuesday at Progress City next to Richland Community College, where visitors will see over 500 exhibitors, live demos, and interactive displays on 90 acres with tickets at $25 for adults, $10 for youth and free for children (advance tickets are offered at a discount). The Decatur Police remind residents not attending the show to avoid the area near Reas Bridge to Mound Rd (especially along Brush College) to reduce traffic. Now Decatur

- ➤ Decatur police said a 34-year-old man suffered broken bones when he was hit with a concrete-filled pipe and doused in gasoline by a 33-year-old suspect (set to appear in court today) who reportedly told a friend, 'We have to kill him now' as the victim escaped in his truck. Herald & Review
