- ➤ Operation Enduring Support, a local faith based group at Grace Methodist Church in Decatur, is collecting items that do not spoil and money to prepare care packages with snacks and hygiene supplies for U.S. troops overseas—donations will be accepted until November 20. - ➤ On October 5th, IDPH released updated vaccine guidance for influenza, RSV, and COVID-19 and issued a statewide standing order that lets pharmacies and clinical centers give COVID-19 shots (based on advice from public health experts) to improve access before the winter surge.
