- ➤ ADM will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new Central Milling Laboratory (705 East Eldorado St.) in Decatur on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 9:30 a.m. The lab will bake about 30 loaves daily to analyze flour performance and support 31 facilities across North America. ABC 20

- ➤ Scherer has secured state funds to help local libraries, literacy programs and technology, with Baby TALK, Richland Community College's Adult Literacy program and veterans' services receiving support—funding that will boost access to important resources. Herald & Review
