- ➤ The Decatur Bicycle Club is accepting children’s bike donations for Toys for Tots this holiday season—donated bikes sized from toddlers to teens will be repaired and sent to the Salvation Army via drop-offs at Decatur Bike Shop, 1230 E. - ➤ At Monday night's Council Connections event, community members learned about the $9 million Jasper Street project and plans to turn nearly 1000 abandoned lots into new housing—Councilman David Horn said construction could begin in as soon as nine months and residents offered ideas to guide the revitalization efforts. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ ADM and Super6 Carbon signed a deal to produce carbon dioxide removal credits by permanently storing captured CO₂ at ADM’s carbon capture site in Decatur—this agreement lets ADM expand its carbon management work beyond bio ethanol while Super6 will supply the CO₂ and ADM will later acquire a minority stake when finalized.
