EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Decatur Public Schools will open online magnet school applications on December 1 for the 2026—27 school year and accept applications through January 31 before holding an electronic lottery in March. - ➤ The Decatur Public Schools Board of Education raised graduation requirements for the class of 2028 so students must earn 24 credits instead of 22+ extra electives have been added to help meet the new standard.
