Good morning, Decatur.

On Thanksgiving morning, the Decatur Running Club held its 'Wobble Before You Gobble' run at Red Tail Run Trail at 8 a.m., where runners prayed and ran to get ready for the holiday meal—showing the tradition's strong bond of friendship and remembrance.

Some participants recalled personal memories and the encouragement it gave to burn off calories before the big meal.

Brian Hunt, a graduate of Millikin University and MacArthur High School, visited MacArthur High School to talk with students about success—he shared personal advice from his own journey.

IDOT officials said crews are pre-treating roads with brine and preparing plows with salt in anticipation of a winter storm expected this weekend.

The teams will work today and continue cleanup until Sunday — officials expect drivers to use caution on the roads.
