CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A Decatur man was startled awake when a bullet pierced through his home and struck his bedroom wall, with no suspects seen outside. Herald & Review
- ➤ Bryan W. Johnson was sentenced to six years for escaping jail and an additional two years for a weapons charge, served concurrently, after a brief escape from the Macon County Jail. Herald & Review
- ➤ A Decatur man was sentenced to seven years in prison after his car, involved in multiple police chases and a drive-by shooting, was stopped and a search revealed a gun modified to fire as an automatic weapon. Herald & Review
