- ➤ The Salvation Army in Decatur provided crucial support to thousands in Macon County, as its 2024 Impact Report shows it offered housing, food and community services. The organization helped 329 homeless men—73 moved into permanent housing and 55 found jobs—and it served 1,103 individuals each month at its food pantry while also aiding families, veterans and youth through various programs.
